GENERAL

By ordering from Deco Panda you are agree to be legally bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

LEAD TIMES

Webstore Orders

We require 48 hours lead time for all Classic and Celebration Cakes and Cupcakes as can be found in our webstore.

Custom Orders

Customised orders require a minimum one week lead time. Due to the time consuming nature of customised orders, we plan our production schedule a week in advance and spots book up fast. In order to avoid disappointment, we therefore suggest placing and confirming your customised order well in advance.

Early Payment Reward

We reward customers who confirm and pay for their custom orders 14 days or more in advance. Our Sales Administrator will inform you by which date you should pay your order to be eligible for an e-voucher reward.

Last Minute Order Surcharge

We will always try to accommodate last minute orders whenever we can. However, last minute orders place tremendous pressure on our production team, often necessitating overtime. In the event that we are able to assist with a last minute customised order, please note that we reserve the right to charge a surcharge in order to ensure that our production team is compensated for their time.

PAYMENT CONFIRMS ORDER

Full payment is needed to confirm online, telephone and invoiced orders and until payment is received your order cannot be guaranteed. We reserve the right to cancel any order still awaiting payment on the production cut-off date and we therefore strongly recommend payment is made in advance of this date.

DELIVERY

Deliveries are made by hand on the date specified in your order. All deliveries are undertaken by Deco Panda or our couriers. Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address on the day of your order; if there is no-one on hand to receive the order we will do our very best to leave them in a safe place (with a neighbour, receptionist, caretaker etc.) but we cannot keep hold of the order for re-delivery and it will be left at the address you have given us, alternatively we will return the order to the bakery for collection. If you would like us to deliver to your place of work or somewhere with a mailroom/courier point we are happy to do so but please note that Deco Panda cannot accept any liability for the treatment of your order or mishandling once a delivery has been made and the package/s signed for. All our drivers are instructed in the correct handling of the cakes and will always pass this information on to any mailroom or office workers but once the cakes are signed for we cannot accept liability for the subsequent handling of your order. You can select the option to collect in store or arrange your own courier but once cakes have left our bakery we cannot be held liable for any damage that occurs in transit.

REFUNDS AND RETURNS

Refunds, credit notes or a replacement order to the same value will be given only in the event that you receive the incorrect product or if the products are shown to be of unsatisfactory quality. Should this be the case, or if you are in any way unsatisfied with the condition or quality of your cakes upon arrival you must contact us within 24 hours of receipt. Deco Panda will not accept liability for any complaints made after this time. In order to consider compensation, Deco Panda quality control team must be afforded the opportunity to inspect the defected product. No refunds will be provided if the product in question is not returned to us for inspection.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Online Orders

If you need to change the date or details of your order or cancel it altogether please contact us as far in advance as possible. Online orders cancelled 7 days or more before the delivery/collection date will receive a full refund on the order total; those cancelled within 2-6 days of delivery/collection will be entitled to a 50% refund; those cancelled within 48 hours of the order date will not be entitled to a refund (although credit notes may still be provided at Deco Panda's discretion).

Custom Orders

Customers who have booked and received an invoice from Deco Panda for a custom cake are entitled to a full refund on the order total for cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of the order date and a 50% refund for orders cancelled within 7-14 days of the order date. Orders cancelled within 7 days of delivery/collection will not be entitled to a refund (although credit notes may still be given at Deco Panda's discretion).

CAKE CARE

Once you have collected your cake please inspect it to ensure it is the correct product and particularly for custom orders, that the brief has been met.

The cake is to be transported on a flat surface under air-conditioning as icing can melt as well as the décor on the cake. Please ensure your cake is refrigerated so as to avoid melting and collapsing. Please refer to our detailed Cake Care Guide.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Please be advised that we Deco Panda require information such as name, surname, contact details, email address as well as address to process all orders. This information is purely for our internal use and this information will be kept in our data base to make ordering in the future easier. This information will not be sold to any third parties. We do not have access to your account or card details when a payment is made via our payment cash portals.
